Goals

Therapy works best when we have goals.  For some people, that will be very specific.  For others, a general direction might be all that's needed.  

 

The following are some questions to get you thinking along those lines:

1.

Place yourself 6 months into the future.  You’ve changed and you’re proud of the work you have put into making that change.  As you reflect back from that time 6 months into the future, what has changed?  In the frame of mind, finish these sentences: 

     I have learned how to cope with…

     I am now able to....

     I feel more…

     I have a different approach to … 

 

2.

Now that you have accomplished the above, you can turn to doing things you’ve always wanted to pursue.  What are those things?  

 

3. 

Finish the following sentence: I have never thought I could do this, but if all barriers were removed I would want to ______ ?
